Is HimLocal GST billing software?
Yes. HimLocal makes GST bills with CGST and SGST shown per tax slab, the taxable value on each line and a consecutive invoice series for every financial year. It also gives your CA a monthly GST summary, so returns are filed from recorded bills rather than re-typed figures.
Can I make non-GST bills?
Yes. If you are not registered for GST, or your business is exempt, HimLocal prints plain bills with no GST lines. Composition-scheme businesses get bills that charge no tax, as the scheme requires. You set your GST type once and every bill and report follows it.
Does the billing work without internet?
Yes. The counter keeps taking orders, printing kitchen tickets and printing bills when the internet drops, and everything syncs when the line comes back. For places with no internet at all there is an offline edition that runs on a laptop, tablet and phone.
Which printers does it support?
HimLocal prints bills and kitchen tickets on standard 58 mm and 80 mm thermal printers. On the HimLocal Partner app for Android it prints straight to Bluetooth and network printers, which a web browser alone cannot do. Kitchen tickets can go to a separate kitchen printer.
